The experience

The session runs 90 minutes, which is long enough to move through multiple locations without rushing, and short enough to hold the light before it shifts.

You'll stop at Paraportiani, the stacked white chapel that sits at the water's edge, then move into little Venice where the buildings rise straight from the sea. The windmills close out the session. They sit on the ridge above town and catch the last good angle of the day. At each stop, you're not posing for a selfie. The photographer is working the angles, the shadows, the composition. They know which hour brings which light to which wall, and they're using that knowledge to make the photos worth keeping.
