The experience
The ride starts at the office in central Kalampaka with a bike fit and briefing on the terrain ahead. You'll roll through the village for a final check, then peel off onto the off-road network that sits just beyond the main roads. The e-MTB motor handles the climbs through the oak forest, so the focus stays on line choice and the trail itself rather than grinding uphill.
Once you leave Kastraki, the maintained trail complex opens up. You'll mix singletrack with dirt roads, stopping to see the Ypapanti monastery and rest at the Eythimios Vlachavas statue with views across the rock formations. A second stop at Metoxi of Varlaam lets you refill water from the spring if it's running. The return route takes a different line down, so you see new terrain and angles on the way back.
The tour runs in two difficulty levels (easy or advance), so you pick the one that matches your riding. Children from age 12 are welcome. You'll get a helmet, the e-MTB, bottled water and local snacks. Extra protective gear is available if you ask for it.
