A private snorkeling trip from St Paul's Bay in Lindos takes you to five swimming and snorkeling stops across Rhodes' best bays and islets, with the sea caves of Lindos as the centerpiece. You choose between a two-hour or three-hour option; the skipper adjusts the route to your group and sea conditions. Snorkeling gear, a sea scooter for kids, refreshments and finger food are included.

The Experience

You board a Bayliner M17 at St Paul's Bay and head straight for the water. The boat is small enough to reach the sea caves and hidden corners that bigger vessels can't access, which means less time cruising and more time in the water. The skipper plots the route around your group's pace and what the sea is doing that day — you're not locked into a fixed schedule or a predetermined number of stops.

The route moves through Pirate Bay with its dramatic rock formations, then into the turquoise water of Navarone Bay for your first swim. Pentanisos Islet comes next, one of the area's best snorkeling spots with visibility that lets you see the seafloor clearly. The highlight is Lindos, where you snorkel inside the sea caves and explore coastal tunnels — a setting you won't find on a standard beach day. As you enter Lindos Bay, the Acropolis sits on the cliff above you. A final stop at Cleobulus Bay gives you a light snack, cold drinks and the option to swim again before heading back.

Snorkeling equipment and a sea scooter (safe for kids six and up) are on board, so you don't bring your own. The boat has a sunshade, a cool box, and Bluetooth speakers so you can play your own music. Beverages run to wine, beer, juices and sparkling water; the food is Mediterranean finger food, breadsticks, fruit and biscuits. Sea turtle sightings are possible in summer, though not guaranteed. The two-hour option covers the main stops; the three-hour version gives you more time at each site and the chance to explore further if conditions allow.
