The Experience

If you have a free evening in Crete and want something more than a restaurant, ALAR Spectacular puts you in the middle of the action from the moment you arrive. The venue itself becomes the stage — performers work the room before the meal even starts, so there's no waiting for the show to begin. You sit at your table, order from the menu, and the entertainment unfolds all around you: acrobats mid-routine, singers at the bar, dancers between the tables.

The meal is a 4-course spread paired with fine wines, and it arrives in rhythm with the performances rather than all at once. While you eat, you'll watch flying aerialists, quick-change artists, comedy routines and live bands, all lit by multicolour lasers and the glow of the LED screen. The energy builds through the evening — by the end, the dance floor opens up and a resident DJ takes over if you want to keep moving. If you'd rather skip dinner and focus on drinks and the show, the Drink & Show option lets you do that.

The whole experience runs about three hours. Vegan meals can be arranged when you confirm your booking, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible. You can book with or without hotel transfer depending on which option you choose; public transport also runs nearby if you're getting yourself there.
