The experience
After pickup from your Corfu port or hotel, you travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Glyfada Beach, one of Corfu's most popular stretches. You have time to settle into a sunbed, swim in the turquoise water, walk the golden sand or order a drink from the beach bar. Watersports like jet-skiing, water-skiing, banana rides and pedalos are available if you want them. Otherwise the pace is entirely yours. A small walk from the drop-off point gets you to the sand.
The second half takes you to Corfu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built around narrow alleys, hidden gardens and distinctive architecture. Your driver brings you to the heart of the Old Town, where you explore on foot: the Old Fortress, the Liston (the famous French-designed promenade), the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, St. Spyridon church with its patron saint relics, the Durrells Gardens and Spianada Square. You can browse souvenir shops, sit down in a taverna for local food, or simply wander the squares and side streets at your own pace.
The tour wraps in time for you to return to your hotel or cruise port for evening departure. Transport, the driver and all taxes are included. Food, drinks and optional sunbed rentals are separate.
