Luxury Sailing Cruise Agios Nikolaos: Mirabello Bay
Relax into shared luxury with curated stops at Spinalonga and Kolokytha Bay
A luxury sailing cruise departing from Agios Nikolaos that takes you around Spinalonga Island and to Kolokytha Bay for swimming and snorkeling, with the option to extend to Psira Island on full-day trips. Choose between shared half-day cruises, private half-day, or private full-day; snorkeling gear, drinks, towels and snacks are included, and lunch at a local restaurant is available on full-day trips.
The Experience
The yacht leaves Agios Nikolaos and sails across Mirabello Gulf for about an hour to reach Spinalonga Island, where you circle the island for photographs before heading to Kolokytha Bay. There the boat anchors and you have roughly an hour to swim in the turquoise water, float on the mattress, or stay onboard—snorkeling equipment is ready if you want it. The pace is built around water time, not rushing between stops.
On full-day trips, you either spend more time at each location or take an alternative route to Psira Island, an uninhabited site northwest of Mochlos with archaeological history. After exploring, the boat heads to Mochlos for lunch at a local fish restaurant. Half-day cruises skip this extension and return earlier. Both formats include snorkeling gear, a stand-up paddleboard, unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee, towels, and Cretan snacks—so you're not buying rounds at a bar or packing a cooler.
You can book a shared cruise (the standard option) or go private for either length. A live English-speaking guide is aboard. The boat carries everything you need to swim and snorkel without arranging it separately, and the route is fixed so the timing holds—no waiting for other groups to decide where to go next.
