The experience

You meet Captain Kostas at Agios Nikolaos marina, board the boat Monomahos, and head into Mirabello Bay. The captain picks the fishing spot based on the day's conditions, then hands you a rod. You cast and reel. This is not a spectator trip. The water is clear enough that you'll see what's below as you fish.

Once the fishing winds down, the boat anchors at one of the bay's quieter coves. You swim in the turquoise water, and the captain brings out a filling snack and drinks. The whole outing runs about four hours from start to finish, built around what you actually do rather than what you see from a distance.

What’s included

  • Fishing rod and equipment.
  • bottled water.
  • snacks.
  • coffee and tea.
  • an English-speaking guide throughout the trip.
