Walk Würzburg's streets while a photographer captures you in the city, not posed against it.

A private portrait session in Würzburg Old Town pairs you with a professional photographer for one hour, during which you choose between the baroque Würzburg Residence and its grounds or the historic city center. You receive 20 edited photographs the next day. The photographer guides your poses and route, and locals moving through the frame are part of the point. You leave with images of yourself in a place you were actually in.

The experience

You pick your route when you book. The palace route starts at the main gate of the Würzburg Residence, the baroque palace on the eastern edge of the old town, and takes you through the sandstone forecourt, the columns, the fountain, and the garden behind it. The old-town route runs the other direction through the historic city center, where the photographer guides natural poses at beautiful locations while the city moves around you. Both routes take an hour.

The photographer works while you move. You're not standing still for a formal portrait. You're walking, and the camera catches you at locations that matter: the architecture, the light, the moment. Locals crossing the frame aren't photobombs. They're proof you were there. You get 20 edited photos, selected and finished by the photographer, with a download link arriving the next morning.

A two-hour option is available if you want to cover more ground and leave with 50 edited photos instead. The photographer speaks English, German, or Russian, and children from age one onward are welcome. Public transportation runs nearby if you need it to reach the starting point.
