The experience
What does it actually take to turn a tea leaf into the cup in front of you? This activity answers that by putting you in the middle of it. You start on a plantation surrounded by mountain landscapes, learning traditional harvesting techniques from locals, then picking your own leaves to fill a basket. The work is real. You're not posing for a photo, you're doing what the pickers do.
From there you move into a working tea factory to see what happens next. The fresh leaves you picked get processed: dried, rolled, oxidized depending on the type. You watch the machinery and the steps that turn green leaf into black tea, and the guide explains why the same plant becomes different teas. It's the kind of detail most visitors never see because they never ask where tea actually comes from.
The tasting closes the loop. You sit down with three varieties (classic black, refreshing green, and aromatic blueberry-infused), and taste what the process produces. An air-conditioned vehicle brings you to the plantation and back, and snacks and bottled water are included throughout. The whole thing takes 5 hours. A live guide speaks English or German.
