You swim in the Frioul Archipelago, not just sail past it.

An evening sailing tour from Marseille's Old Port on a traditional schooner, with a stop to swim in a cove in the Frioul Archipelago and a cocktail dinner served on deck at sunset. The boat holds up to 30 passengers and returns to port at 10:30pm. A live guide speaks English, Italian or French. Rosé and a cold buffet of local, seasonal food are included.

The experience

The boat leaves the Old Port at 7pm, in front of the Town Hall. You sail south through Marseille's harbor toward the Calanques National Park, passing the Château d'If and the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica lit up against the evening sky. The route crosses the Baie des Singes, a natural passage between Maïre Island and Cape Croisette, then continues into the Frioul Archipelago: a stretch of limestone cliffs and wild coves that extends over twenty kilometers of coastline. The crew anchors in one of the creeks so you can swim in the water.

Once back on deck, the crew serves a cold buffet of organic, local and seasonal dishes, along with two glasses of rosé per person. Music plays (you can request your own playlists), and the light fades as the city's lights come on across the water. The boat returns to the Old Port at 10:30pm.
