Rennes team challenge game: Solve puzzles through the Old Town

Solve puzzles and snap photos as your team races through Rennes' streets

A smartphone-guided team challenge game in Rennes where you explore the Old Town and Place de la République, solving puzzles and taking photos to complete missions together. The game runs two hours, adapts to your pace, and works in English or French. You download the free app, receive a unique game code, and play on your own device with phone and chat support available throughout.

The experience

The game starts on Place de la République and pulls your team through the Old Town's small, winding streets. Your smartphone becomes the guide: it sends you to each mission, tells you what to solve, and tracks your progress as you work through the challenges. You're competing, but the point is the team: solving puzzles together, taking the photos that prove you did it, and moving at whatever pace keeps everyone engaged.

Each team gets a unique game code to unlock the scenario on the free app you download before you arrive. The game lasts two hours and includes the full scenario. You'll have phone and live chat support available seven days a week if you get stuck or have a question. The setup is flexible: it doesn't ask for any preparation, and it works whether your group has done this kind of thing before or never has.

The game works in English or French depending on which bachelor or bachelorette option you select at checkout.

Top questions

What languages is the tour guided in?

Live guide in English and French.

Can we play this as a mixed group, or is it only for bachelor and bachelorette parties?

The game is built around bachelor (EVG) and bachelorette (EVJF) themes, and you choose the format when you book: English or French, one team or two teams competing. The missions and challenges are tied to that theme, so the experience is designed specifically for that celebration.

Do we need to bring our own phones, or does the game provide them?

You use your own smartphone to play. Each team member can have the app on their device, or one person can hold the phone and lead the group through each challenge. The game code works on any device with the app downloaded.

What happens if someone in the group isn't comfortable with smartphones or walking around the city?

The game adapts to your pace and requires no special fitness level. All areas and surfaces in the Old Town are wheelchair accessible, and public transportation is nearby if anyone needs a break or a different way to move through the city.

How does the two-team option work?

If you book a two-team game, both teams receive separate game codes and compete through the same Rennes route, solving different puzzles and challenges. It's the same two-hour game, but split so groups can race each other.

What if we get lost or don't understand a puzzle?

Phone and live chat support is available seven days a week to help you through any mission or navigation question. The app guides you step by step, and the support team can clarify what you're looking for.
