The experience

Two and a half hours in a sidecar means you leave Saint Malo and arrive in Saint Suliac with time to walk the village itself: the charming fishing settlement that sits on the banks of the Rance and has held its ranking among France's most beautiful villages since 1999. The route traces the estuary landscape between land and sea, and the guide stops at the 13th-century Church of Sailors and the Second World War bunkers that overlook Saint Malo Bay. On the return, you stroll through Solidor, one of the most beautiful quarters of Saint Malo proper, before heading back.

The sidecar is a private arrangement: just you and the driver, who speaks English or French and handles all the navigation. Helmets, gloves and rainwear come with the booking, so weather does not change the plan. Pickup is included. Public transportation options are nearby if you prefer to meet the driver at a central point instead.
