A perfume creation workshop in Bordeaux where you learn to compose a custom fragrance in a small group led by a perfume expert. You'll explore the history and structure of perfume, sample over 100 individual notes, blend your own formula with up to three attempts to adjust the proportions, and leave with a 30ml bottle of your creation plus your formula sheet to recreate it later.

The experience

What does it take to turn a blank canvas into a signature scent? The workshop walks you through it in stages. You'll start with the history of perfume and anecdotes that frame why certain combinations work, then move into the architecture of fragrance itself: the top notes that hit first, the heart notes that linger, and the base notes that anchor everything. That foundation matters because it shapes every choice you make next.

Then comes the hands-on part. You'll have access to more than a hundred individual notes and accords, each one waiting to be tested. As you smell your way through them, you pick the ones that speak to you. A perfume expert guides the process, but the decisions are yours. Once you've selected your notes, you'll create the formula for your fragrance and get up to three attempts to adjust the proportions of each component until it feels right. The whole experience runs about two and a half hours.

You leave with a 30ml bottle of your creation, personalized with your choice of cap color, label color, and the name you give it. You also keep your formula sheet, which means you can order the same fragrance again later or share the recipe with someone else. The workshop is wheelchair accessible, and children are welcome from age 10 onward.
