The Experience

The tour starts on the Promenade des Anglais and moves through the liveliest parts of Nice—the Old Town first, where narrow streets hold centuries of stories, then up to Castle Hill for the best panorama of the city, rocky coves and tiny beaches below. The e-bikes do the climbing work; you steer and take in the views. Along the way the guide points out where locals actually swim, which villas belong to which stories, and the surprising scale of the place from above.

From there you ride down to the Port, where fishing boats and yachts sit in the water and the guide explains what the ferries and the fishermen mean to Nice. Then into the park—the guide calls it the nicest in the city, full of ruins, a waterfall, gardens and cemeteries that map the whole history of the place, from ancient times through wars and rebuilding. The Promenade comes last, the long seafront with its hotels, monuments and cycle lane, where the day settles into what you want to do next.

The guide is local, young and holds the national diploma for tour guides (Carte Conférencier National). They customize the route depending on what you care about—the architecture, the food scene, the swimming spots, the history—so the three hours land on what matters to you. Groups stay small. The e-bikes have a maximum weight of 110 kg and need a minimum height of 1.45 m; average fitness is enough to ride them.
