The Experience

You meet at the agency, leave your bags there, and get a quick training on the e-bike before the ride starts. The guide takes you north to Tête d'Or Park first — you'll roll through the tropical greenhouses, past the rose garden, and make a stop at the zoo. From there the route moves to Terreaux Square, where the City Hall and Bartholdi's Fountain sit, then down into Old Town with its colorful Renaissance buildings, the Courthouse, and Cathedral Saint-Jean-Baptiste.

The second half crosses to Bellecour Square, Europe's largest public square, where you'll see the statue of Louis XIV. Then you ride the Rhône banks past Fourvière Hill and Croix-Rousse Hill — both good stretches for the e-bike — and continue south to watch the two rivers meet. The tour ends near the Saône with its Italian-style buildings. The whole route covers the city from north to south in 3 hours, and the e-bike motor handles the hills without you having to push hard.

The group stays small — no more than 10 riders — so the pace stays manageable and the guide can answer questions at each stop. Children under 18 need an adult with them.
