The experience
Lourmarin anchors the day: you'll walk its elegant streets, visit the Renaissance château, and move through the shops and cafés at your own pace. From there the tour turns inward to Lauris, a hilltop village where you can walk the gardens of an old castle or stop for a light lunch, then to Cucuron, where the rhythm slows further and village life unfolds without the crowds. The private format means the guide adjusts the stops to what interests you: longer at the château if you want it, a shorter pass through if you don't.
Two tastings anchor the afternoon. At a local olive oil producer, you'll taste oils and walk through the groves if you want to. At a carefully selected vineyard, you'll taste wines and learn the craft behind them. Both stops include time to buy: olive oils, wines, local cheeses, whatever catches your eye. The final stop is a village at the heart of the Luberon national park, a quieter end to the day than where you started.
Your guide speaks English or French and travels with you the whole day in private transportation, so there's no switching between vehicles or waiting for a group to assemble. If you're traveling solo, the tour is bookable at a special rate through the website.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?

Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (11 to 17 years); Child (5 to 10 years). Children under 5 can't be included in the booking.
What is the Lourmarin château like, and how much time do you spend there?
Lourmarin's Renaissance château is the architectural centerpiece of the village. You'll visit it as part of the morning walk through the old streets, and the guide adjusts how long you linger based on your interest in the building and its history.
Can you eat lunch during the tour, or do you need to bring your own food?
Lunch is not included in the tour, but there's an optional stop for a light meal in Lauris if you want one. You'll also have time to shop for local food and wine products at the olive oil mill and vineyard stops.
What's the difference between visiting Lourmarin and the other two villages?
Lourmarin is the largest and most visited of the three, with a château, shops and cafés. Lauris and Cucuron are smaller, quieter hilltop villages where you experience a slower, more everyday side of Provençal life: fewer tourists, narrower streets, and a different pace altogether.
Do you need to be fit or experienced to walk through the olive groves and castle gardens?
The tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels. Walks through the olive groves and castle gardens are optional, so you choose what you do based on your comfort and interest.
