You get a full briefing and remote supervision from a qualified instructor. No license required. Wetsuit, life jacket and changing facilities are included. Riders must be at least 16 years old.

The experience

What makes this different from a guided tour is that you're at the controls. After registration at the club house and a complete briefing on the white sand beach, you take the jet-ski out alone or with a passenger behind you. The two secure circuits are designed so you can open up on the straights and test the tight turns without worrying about traffic or open water. An instructor watches remotely the whole time, so you get the thrill without the risk of figuring it out solo.

You choose between two models before you start: the Seadoo GTI 130 with 100 HP (fits one or two people) or the Seadoo SPARK with 90 HP (one person only). The 10-minute session is long enough to get past the nerves and actually feel what the jet-ski can do. Afterward, you change in the facilities with shower and locker, then you can sit on the panoramic terrace if you want to decompress before heading out. The bar and snack are there if you're hungry, though food isn't included in the session price.
