The Experience

Èze sits 400 meters above the sea and is one of the first stops after leaving Cannes. The village itself is the draw—narrow stone streets, history layered into the walls, and views that reach to the water. You'll have time to walk it on your own before heading to the Fragonard perfumery, a working factory where you can see how the fragrances are made and buy if something catches your attention. The guide meets you after and drives you toward Monaco.

Monaco comes next. You'll see the Prince's Palace on the Rock, and if the tour runs in the morning, you'll catch the changing of the guards. The Cathedral holds the chapels of the late sovereign Princes and Princesses. There's free time to walk the old town, browse for souvenirs, or sit in St. Martin Gardens. The Monte Carlo Casino is a stop on the way back—the building itself is the main event, all marble and gilt inside, though if you want to gamble a few coins it costs 17€ and is only offered in the afternoon. You can also just look at the display of luxury cars parked outside.

The return route follows the coast to Antibes, a town that defended the region for centuries and still has its 15th-century ramparts circling the Old Town. You'll pass the Grimaldi Castle, now the Picasso museum, and the marina known as Billionaires' Quay before heading inland. The day ends back in Cannes on La Croisette Boulevard, where you'll walk the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals—the same steps used during the Film Festival in May—and see the Walk of Fame with its handprints of celebrities. Port pickup and drop-off are included, and the minivan is air-conditioned.
