Arc de Triomphe Rooftop Tickets: Paris panorama from the terrace
Stand on the panoramic terrace and see all of Paris spread below
Arc de Triomphe rooftop tickets grant entry to the monument's panoramic terrace in Paris's 8th Arrondissement, reached through an underground walkway from the Champs-Élysées. From the top, your view sweeps across the whole city. The monument itself (about 50 meters high, 45 meters long and 22 meters wide) was inspired by Rome's Arch of Titus but stands as Napoleon's vision, inaugurated in 1836 and home to the Unknown Soldier since 1921. Digital tickets arrive 24 hours before your visit.

The experience
The Arc de Triomphe sits at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle, where twelve avenues radiate outward like a star. To reach the rooftop, you enter via an underground walkway from the Avenue Champs-Élysées. A route that keeps you clear of the traffic circling the monument above. Once you're inside, the terrace opens onto a view that reaches across the whole of Paris: the city spreads in every direction from this single vantage point.
The monument itself carries the weight of French history. Architect Jean-François Chalgrin designed it as a single monumental arch, abandoning the columns that framed Rome's original and pushing the scale to something exceptional. Napoleon commissioned it in 1806. Louis-Philippe inaugurated it in 1836 to honour the armies of the Revolution and the Empire. The Unknown Soldier was laid at its base in 1921, and every day at 18:30 the flame of remembrance is rekindled there.
Your digital entry ticket arrives by email or WhatsApp 24 hours before your visit. Priority support is available by phone or WhatsApp during Paris business hours (9 to 17).
