After the sled ride, you come back to the kota — a traditional wooden shelter with a fire inside — and warm up with coffee or tea included in the experience. If you want more than a hot drink, the restaurant is there for a light snack or a full meal, both available by reservation. Some people stop here. Others go further and book the wood-fired sauna, which sits surrounded by snow and nature, followed by a soak in the hot tub while the cold air hits your face. The whole thing moves at your pace; nothing is rushed.

Getting to the farm depends on where you're coming from. If you're flying into Kemi Airport, a transfer costs €90 for one to four people or €110 for four to eight. From Rovaniemi, it's €290 or €345 depending on group size. The train station in Kemi is €105 or €125. You need to arrive on time — delays over fifteen minutes mean the safari may not run, and you'll still be charged. If there's no snow, the sled becomes a cart and the ride happens anyway. Winter weather can shift things; the farm reserves the right to shorten or cancel if conditions turn severe or guides fall ill, but that's rare in Lapland.

Bring layers. The cold is real, but the dogs are warm and the fire afterward is warmer. Snowshoeing and forest walks are also available if you want to move on foot instead.
