The Experience

Two hours on foot through Nadi, starting outside Tappoos Shopping Complex on the main street. The guide is a local professional with deep knowledge of Fiji's culture and history, and the group stays small enough that you can ask questions and move at a pace that lets you actually absorb what you're seeing instead of rushing between stops. You'll walk to the Sri Subramaniya Temple—the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere—where the guide explains the symbolism, daily rituals and the role religion plays in the community. From there the route takes you to the Nadi Farmers Market, where locals shop for fresh produce, seafood and spices.
