The experience

The dive boat leaves Port Denarau Marina at 9am and runs two dives over about five hours, returning by early afternoon. You're working with a maximum of 8 divers per trip, plus SSI-certified instructors and divemasters, so the group stays small enough that the guide can watch everyone underwater. All scuba equipment is on board (tanks, regulators, BCDs, wetsuits), so you pack light and the boat handles the setup.

The dives take place on coral reefs scattered around the Mamanuca Group of Islands, and on the Salamander wreck that sits out past Treasure Island. The operator describes this as their "underwater backyard," which means they know the sites well and can read the conditions. Fresh bottled water and biscuits are provided between dives, and the boat captains are MSAF certified. If you're a certified diver traveling with someone who isn't, the team specializes in introductory diving, so your non-certified companion can join you underwater with proper instruction and still share the same dive.

The boat departs daily with English or Hindi-speaking guides. Pickup from your accommodation is included, and public transportation options are available if you prefer to meet the boat at the marina. The early return time means the rest of your day is still open.
