Forty-six point eight metres above the football pitch is where the glass walkway starts, and that's the moment the climb stops being abstract. Your guide has already walked you through the safety briefing at Basecamp, fitted you with everything you need, and now it's just you, the harness, and the view opening up as London spreads out in every direction. The golden cockerel at the summit isn't just a landmark — it's the thing you're actually walking toward, and the glass beneath your feet makes sure you see every step of it.

The Dare Skywalk at Tottenham Hotspur is built for people who want to feel something real. It's not a viewing platform where you stand still; you're climbing, moving, working your way up the stadium's structure with a professional guide setting the pace. At the summit, a photographer is there to capture the moment — both the official shots and space for your own photos on the viewing platform. Then you descend the same way you came, back down to Basecamp, where the Tottenham Experience Shop lets you review and buy your professional images before you leave. The whole thing takes time to do properly, which is why you're asked to arrive twenty minutes early to check in, get kitted up, and use the lockers.

This climb isn't for everyone, and the operators are clear about that. You need to be at least 1.2 metres tall, weigh under 130 kilograms, and have a moderate level of fitness — the cardiovascular demand is real. If you have a spinal injury, are pregnant, or have had an epileptic fit in the past year, you can't do it. There's also a maximum waist measurement of 125 centimetres for the harness to fit properly. Kids as young as eight can climb, but they need an adult with them, and the ratios are strict: one adult per two children aged 8–17, one adult per four children aged 12–17, or one adult per six if they're 15 or older. Walking poles are available if you need them, and the equipment — suits, shoes, harnesses — is sanitised after every use.
