The tour starts with the place Cambridge actually began: Castle Hill, where Romans, Vikings and Normans all fought for the last bridge before the sea. From there you move through Magdalene Street and Bridge (the ancient roadway that was once the city's port), and into the story of how the University grew out of the Round Church.
