Nile River Dinner Cruise Cairo: Belly Dance & Buffet
Three and a half hours on the Nile with dinner, live music and traditional dance
A dinner cruise on the Nile in Cairo combines an open buffet of Egyptian and international food with live belly dance and folklore entertainment, all while the city lights reflect off the water. You board an elegant steamer for the evening, enjoy dinner and the show from your seat, and return to your hotel by the end of the night. An English-speaking guide travels with you.
Step-by-step itinerary
Evening Nile dinner cruise with entertainment
- Board Nile River steamer in Cairo
- Enjoy open buffet dinner
- Watch folkloric and belly-dancing show
- View Cairo skyline illuminated at night
- Disembark after cruise
The experience
The boat leaves your hotel and brings you to the steamer, where you settle in for the evening. The cruise moves slowly along the Nile as Cairo's skyline lights up around you: the city on one bank, the river itself the stage for the whole experience. An open buffet serves Egyptian dishes alongside international options, so you eat at your own pace while the boat moves.
Entertainment runs through the evening: a folkloric show and a belly dancer perform on stage while you dine. Western music plays between acts. The whole experience lasts about three and a half hours from pickup to return. Wheelchair access is available throughout the boat and vehicle, and the boat accommodates infants on an adult's lap. The guide speaks English, and other language options are available depending on which cruise tier you book.
Three purchase options let you choose the standard 4-star steamer, the 5-star version, or the luxury tier: each with the same itinerary and entertainment, differing in the vessel and service level. A surcharge of $10 USD per person applies during the high season from December 24 through January 2.
