The Experience
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel around 8 am and heads straight to the Giza Plateau for a 3-hour immersion in the ancient monuments. You walk on the sand next to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving wonder of the ancient world, and stand before the Sphinx. The guide takes you through the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and into the Valley Temple of King Khafre, where pharaohs were prepared for the afterlife. Entrance to the Giza complex is included. If you want to enter the interior of any pyramid, that fee is separate and paid on-site.
After the plateau, you transfer to a restaurant in Giza for lunch (your choice and cost). The afternoon moves to the Grand Egyptian Museum, opened in 2015, which holds the world's largest collection of Egyptian artifacts: over 45,000 pieces spanning the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. Your archaeologist guide walks you through the masterpieces, the mummified remains, and the complete treasure of Tutankhamun, explaining the historical weight of what you're seeing. Museum entry is included.
The final stop is Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo's centuries-old market in the Islamic quarter, where you browse stalls of fabrics, handicrafts, and antiques at your own pace. A transfer back to your hotel closes the day. The vehicle is air-conditioned throughout, bottled water is provided, and the guide is a qualified archaeologist fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and several other languages.
What’s included
- Private air-conditioned transportation with hotel pickup and return.
- entrance fees to the Giza Pyramids complex and the Egyptian Museum.
- a private archaeologist guide in your chosen language.
- and bottled water throughout the day.

Is this one for you?Hotel pickup and return means you don't arrange transport to the pyramids or navigate Cairo on your own. The guide meets you in the morning and brings you back at the end, which matters if you're without a car or unfamiliar with the city.
