The experience

Your driver picks you up from your hotel at 4pm and takes you to the Cairo pier. Once there, you board a traditional Egyptian felucca. A wooden sailing boat that has carried people on the Nile for centuries. The boat leaves the dock and you spend the next hour or two on the water, watching the city's landmarks pass along the banks while the evening sun hits the water. Soft drinks and snacks are served throughout the sail. If you've chosen a lunch option, you'll eat at a local restaurant before or after the boat ride, depending on which departure time you book.
