The experience

The day starts before dawn with pickup from your hotel in Punta Cana or Bayahibe, then a scenic drive through the Dominican countryside to the fishing village of Miches. Breakfast waits at the pier before you board the boat for Samaná Bay, where humpback whales arrive each year between mid-January and mid-April.
