Punta Cana Airport Transfer to Hotel: Meet & Greet Included

From the airport to your hotel without the wait at the curb

Punta Cana airport transfer with professional meet and greet service, air-conditioned transport to your hotel, and complimentary mamajuana. A Somos Viaje representative meets you at arrivals with your name on a sign, escorts you to the vehicle, and stays available throughout your stay. Choose between private or shared service. The ride takes 20 to 30 minutes depending on your hotel location.

The experience

The driver monitors your flight before you land, so if you arrive early or late, the pickup adjusts. A uniformed Somos Viaje representative meets you at Punta Cana Airport holding a sign with your name, walks you to an air-conditioned vehicle, and handles the route to your accommodation. The ride includes complimentary refreshments and free Wi-Fi, so you can message ahead or catch up on messages without burning through your phone plan. The whole transfer runs 20 to 30 minutes depending on where your hotel sits.

Beyond the ride itself, you get a complimentary bottle of mamajuana, a traditional Dominican drink, and access to a local crafts shopping tour that introduces you to handmade souvenirs and regional artisan work. The representative shares details about the destination as you drive, and Somos Viaje keeps 24/7 support available if you need anything during your stay. Service animals travel free. Infants sit on an adult's lap, and booster seats are available for an extra fee if you're traveling with young children.

The service runs for arrivals and departures between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. You pick private transfer, just your group in one vehicle, or shared, where you ride with other passengers heading to nearby hotels. Either way, the meet and greet, the drink, and the crafts tour come with both options.

Is this one for you?Choose private transfer if you want your group alone in the vehicle and no stops for other passengers. Shared transfer works better if you're traveling solo or as a couple and don't mind a slightly longer route to drop off other guests first. Both include the same welcome service and complimentary drink, so the choice is really about whether you value privacy or prefer to split the cost.
