The ride itself is the centerpiece. After a breakfast stop in Miches, you travel by vehicle to Samana where the horses wait. From there you ride to Cascada el Limón, a waterfall set into jungle terrain where you can swim, cool off and take photos before heading back. The waterfall is the anchor of the day, not a quick stop between other sights, but the reason for the route.

Once you leave the waterfall, a boat takes you to Bacardi Island for a snack and a swim on the beach. Lunch comes later, after you've had time in the water and the sun.
