Soak in whirlpool tubs inspired by Czech traditions, then unwind by the fire

Beer Baths Letna is a single beer and wine spa bath in central Prague where you soak in warm water infused with beer brewed to a unique recipe, then spend time in Prague's largest salt cave. The bath lasts 20–25 minutes at 37–38°C; the salt cave session runs about 30 minutes. Unlimited Czech beer is included for guests 18 and older. The spa also houses a real well from the time of Rudolf II and a salt fireplace inside the cave.

The Experience

Beer Baths Letna fills a single bathtub with warm water and adds beer brewed to a proprietary formula, letting you soak for 20–25 minutes while the liquid works on your skin. The water stays at 37–38°C throughout. Afterward, you move into the salt cave—the largest in Prague—where you settle by the fireplace for about 30 minutes. The cave holds a genuine well from Rudolf II's era and a working salt fireplace, both original fixtures. Unlimited Czech dark and light beer comes with your session, served while you're in the cave.

The spa itself is new but built on old Czech wellness traditions. You're choosing a single bath rather than a shared one, which means you control the timing and the space is yours alone. The salt cave is where most people linger—the mineral air and the fireplace create a different kind of rest than the bath itself. If you want to stay longer after your 50 minutes of scheduled time, the spa doesn't push you out; many guests use it as a reason to sit with a beer and let the day slow down.

Top questions

What exactly is in the beer bath water?

The bath is filled with warm water and beer brewed according to Beer Baths Letna's own recipe. The operator does not disclose the specific ingredients beyond that it follows traditional Czech formulas.

How long do I spend in the salt cave?

The salt cave session lasts about 30 minutes. You relax by the fireplace after your bath, and the cave is the largest one in Prague, so there's room to move around and explore the historic well and salt fireplace.

Is the beer included, or do I pay extra?

Unlimited Czech dark and light beer is included in your session for guests 18 and older. You drink it during the salt cave time, not during the bath itself.

What do I need to bring, or is everything provided?

Slippers, towels, and sheets are all included. You don't need to bring bathing supplies or linens.

Can I book this if I'm visiting Prague with a friend?

This listing is for a single bath experience. Beer Baths Letna also offers larger baths with whirlpools for 1–2 people, but those are separate bookings. You and a friend would each book a single bath if you want to soak separately, or you can inquire about the couple baths at checkout.

Where is Beer Baths Letna located in Prague?

The spa is in the Letná district in the middle of Prague. Public transportation options are available nearby, so you can reach it by tram or metro without a car.
