The experience

The boat leaves Larnaca Marina and sails along the bay's historical coastline as the sun drops toward the water. You'll have time to relax on deck, watch the warm light catch the buildings onshore, and photograph the moment the sun touches the horizon. At Mackenzie Beach, the boat stops for 20 minutes so you can jump in and cool off with a swim or snorkel. The beach sits near Larnaca airport, so you may catch views of aircraft landing in the distance while you're in the water.

Between the swim and the sail back, you move below deck into the air-conditioned underwater cabin whenever you want. The cabin has windows into the seabed, so you can watch the marine life and the seafloor without getting wet again. Snorkelling equipment is provided. All the while, the bar stays open with unlimited ice-cold beers, wine and soft drinks: no rationing, no tab to settle at the end.

The return follows Finikoudes Beach back to the marina. The whole outing runs 90 minutes from start to finish.
