On the way you'll pass Gómez Square to see the musical clock, find the letters spelling out "Curaçao" and "Dushi" for photos, and view the Mikvé Israel Emanuel synagogue from outside, one of the oldest temples in the Western Hemisphere. At the old market in Punda, you'll taste arep'i pampuna, a local pumpkin pancake that's a real neighborhood staple, not a tourist version.

The 9:00 tour includes a rum tasting at the end—AnnaBay 5 Year Aged, a sipping rum with notes of wood, chocolate and vanilla. The 16:00 departure skips the rum but includes a snack instead. Both tours give you a bottle of water and a small gift. If you want to bring extra fruit or water for the walk, you can; the route is walkable but calls for a moderate fitness level, and the Caribbean sun is direct.
