West Coast Catamaran Sailing Curacao: Two Beaches & Lunch
Two secret beaches, a full lunch prepared aboard, and the calm west coast up close
A full-day sailing tour along Curacao's west coast aboard the BlueFinn catamaran, departing at 8:30am and returning around 4:30pm. You anchor at two sheltered beaches tucked into coves on the remote southwestern shore, places most visitors never reach, and spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing while the crew grills lunch. The return route hugs the shoreline so you see Coral Estate, Blue Bay, Piscadera, Willemstad and the Seaquarium from the water. Lunch includes three salads, three grilled meats, bread and peanut sauce. The premium bar opens after. A guide speaks English, Spanish, German or Dutch.

The experience
The 75-foot catamaran BlueFinn leaves the dock at 8:30am and heads straight for open water, where the sails go up and the boat settles into a smooth run toward Curacao's west coast. The destination is a small, sheltered beach tucked into a cove: one of the island's secret spots, accessible only by boat and far quieter than the crowded stretches closer to town. You jump in to swim and snorkel in deep water, then the boat moves to a second beach where you can relax while the crew fires up the grill.
Lunch lands around 12:30pm: homemade pasta pesto salad, kidney bean salad, couscous salad, grilled ribs, chicken and steak, fresh bread and the house peanut sauce. The premium bar opens at the same time: Bacardi rum, vodka, Dewar's whiskey, white and rosé wine, and two beers on tap, plus soft drinks and juices. While you eat and drink, the crew clears the galley, and you have time to rest on deck or slip back in the water before the return begins.
On the way back, the catamaran stays close to shore so you see all the landmarks up close: Coral Estate, Blue Bay, Piscadera, the famous pondjesbrug bridge in Willemstad, and the Seaquarium. The boat has a restroom on board, and the crew speaks English, Spanish, German or Dutch. The full day runs eight hours.
