ATV riding in Krka National Park is a four-hour offroad activity where you operate a quad through rough terrain surrounding the Krka River, Visovac, Roški Waterfall, Ključica Fortress, Torak Lake and Skradin. Your English-speaking guide leads you at speeds up to 50 km/h and stops for photos at each viewpoint. The quad, helmet, fuel and national park ticket are included.

The experience

Four hours of riding means you cover ground fast enough to reach seven separate viewpoints without spending the whole day on one stretch. The trails wind through terrain that opens onto the Krka River, the Roški Waterfall and views across Skradin Fields and the town itself. You operate the quad the entire time. This is not a sightseeing ride where someone else drives. The guide stays with you to navigate the rough ground and point out where to stop for photos, so you get the route without the navigation work.

The pace tops out at 50 km/h, which means you move fast enough to feel the ride but slow enough to take in the landscape and handle the offroad surface. Beginners and experienced riders both go on the same trip, so the guide adjusts the line to match the group. The national park ticket, the quad itself, helmet and fuel all come with the booking. You show up ready to ride.
