The experience
Your driver meets you at 9 a.m. at Prva Splitska Cesma in front of Modesty Bar, or picks you up from your hotel or cruise ship dock gate. From there, the ride climbs toward the highest mountain in the area: the views open up along the whole ascent. The best trails are designed to push your handling. After the mountain section, you drop down into a valley where a local family serves a full BBQ lunch in a traditional Dalmatian stone house or riverside restaurant. The meal is substantial and built around what the region cooks: expect local meat, fresh vegetables, and the kind of portions locals eat themselves.
After lunch, the route shifts to softer grass trails that lead to a river swimming spot: a genuine break in the day, especially during summer months. The water is cold and clear. The return to base follows gentle river trails with views the whole way back. Your guide waits for you throughout, and photos taken during the day are included in the price. The whole outing runs six hours from start to finish.
You'll need a valid driver's license (category B) and a good mood, as the operator puts it. The guide speaks English or Spanish. Transport from your location, helmet, gloves, bottled water, fuel, and the BBQ lunch are all included. If you have dietary requirements or prefer vegetarian food, let the operator know when you book. A minimum of four people is required per booking, and groups stay at a maximum of 30.
Is this one for you?Book the single rider option if you want to operate your own ATV and control your own pace through the trails. Choose the double rider option if you prefer to ride as a passenger with an experienced operator handling the machine. Both include the same route, lunch, and swimming stop.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can I ride an ATV if I've never done it before?
Yes. The trails are designed for riders of all experience levels, and your guide will prepare you before the mountain section starts. You do need a valid driver's license (category B) and must be at least 18 years old.
What are the river springs and old mills I'll see?
The mills are over a hundred years old and still working. They're part of the villages scattered through the inland valleys where locals have lived for generations. The river springs feed the streams and valleys you'll ride through, and they're the reason the region stays green even in summer.
Is the BBQ lunch included in the price, or do I pay extra?
The BBQ lunch is included in the full-day price. It's served in a traditional stone house or river restaurant in the valley, and the portions are generous. If you need vegetarian food or have other dietary requirements, tell the operator when you book.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The tour operates in all weather conditions, so bring clothes that suit the season. Rain or cold won't cancel the ride, but dress appropriately for what's forecast.
Do I need to bring anything, or is everything provided?
Helmet, gloves, and bottled water are provided. Bring a valid driver's license, wear smart casual clothes (and a swimsuit under them if you plan to swim), and wear shoes suitable for riding. The operator will pick you up from your hotel or cruise ship dock, so you don't need to arrange transport to the start point.
