The Experience
The tour starts with a walk through the rainforest canopy on six suspension bridges engineered to U.S. standards. The bridges span 250 meters total, strung between platforms attached to massive hardwood trees, and the design minimizes impact on the forest while letting you see the canopy from a bird's eye view. As you walk the trails, you'll spot birds, insects and amphibians, then move into the river section where handrails and observation platforms let you watch waterfalls and photograph the wildlife.
Near the end of the route, a pristine waterfall pool sits ready for a swim. The walk takes four hours total, and private transportation is included — your guide meets you and handles the drive, so you only show up and walk. Your guide speaks English or Spanish and knows the site well enough to point out the ecosystem details as you go.
