The experience
The boat leaves Del Coco Beach at 2pm and circles Playa Hermosa and the Gulf of Papagayo before reaching Monkey Rock, where you enter the water with snorkeling gear (included) to look for sea life: turtles, dolphins and rays are possible sightings. The route also passes Tortuga Rock, another spot where marine animals gather. Back on the boat, snacks arrive first, then a full meal with your choice of drinks, all served as the sun drops toward the horizon.
This is a private boat, so the pace and the music are yours to set. The guide speaks English or Spanish and stays with the group throughout. The 4-hour window (2pm to 6pm) means you're on the water as light fades, which is when the sunset actually happens, not a rushed moment at the end of a longer day.
What’s included
- Snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel).
- soda and bottled water.
- a full meal.
- alcoholic beverages of your choice.
- live guide in English or Spanish.
- hotel or beach pickup.
