You're picked up from your hotel and driven to Hacienda La Pinta, a working farm that spans over 501 hectares across Guanacaste's rural landscape. The guide meets you there and fits you with a horse and safe, well-maintained gear before the ride begins. The pace is set for all levels: families, couples and small groups all ride together, and the guide handles the route and the stops.

The ride itself moves through fields, forests and along coastline views, with the guide pointing out the farm's history and the wildlife and plants you pass.
