The experience
The boat leaves Playa Colorada at 6 a.m. and follows the Pacific coast for roughly an hour before reaching Sirena Beach, where Corcovado National Park begins. Once ashore, a certified naturalist guide leads you along rainforest trails through dense tropical vegetation: the kind of ecosystem that supports more species per square meter than almost anywhere else on Earth. The guide shares what the forest actually contains: how the trees, animals and water systems connect, what you're hearing in the canopy, why certain plants grow where they do. Because this is a private tour, the route and the pace shift with what interests you most.
Around 11:30 a.m., you break at the ranger station for a light snack. At 12:30 p.m., you hike back to the beach to board the return boat, arriving in Drake Bay around 2 p.m. The whole day (boat ride, trails, the break) is built around your comfort and curiosity, not a schedule that moves everyone through the same stops at the same time.

Yes. Ticket types: Youth (11 to 17 years); Child (6 to 10 years); Infant (4 to 5 years). Children under 4 can't be included in the booking.

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. No refund if you cancel.
What's the boat ride like from Drake Bay to Sirena?
The boat follows the Pacific coast for about an hour, passing remote beaches and tropical forest before reaching Sirena Beach. It's a scenic passage, not a long ocean crossing, and you'll be on the water twice, once to get there and once to return.
How much hiking is involved on the rainforest trails?
You spend the morning on trails inside Corcovado, guided by a certified naturalist. The terrain is rainforest floor (roots, uneven ground, tropical vegetation), so moderate physical fitness is needed. The pace and distance are set by your guide and your interests, not by a fixed route.
What does the guide actually explain on the trails?
Your certified naturalist guide shares insights about the region's flora, fauna and ecological processes as you walk. Corcovado is one of the most biodiverse rainforests on Earth, so there's a lot to learn about how the ecosystem works and what lives there.

Lunch is included. You take a break around 11:30 a.m. at the ranger station for a light snack, then hike back to the beach at 12:30 p.m. to catch the return boat.
