The Going Troppo bus pulls up to your accommodation with the bass already thumping — and you realize this is not a minivan with a tour guide, it's a moving party with lights, open windows, and a sound system that works the whole route between bars. Your local guide meets you at pickup, and once everyone's collected, you head straight to The Hula Bar, where you get a souvenir flower Ei ID tag, your choice of a LED wine glass or stubbie holder, and one complimentary beer or cocktail to start the night.

From there the Rarotonga nightlife tour moves you through three to four bars — Vaianas and beyond — spending twenty to thirty minutes at each one, with snacks and drinks available as you go. The bus itself becomes part of the experience; between stops, the speakers keep the energy up so the ride is not just transport, it's the thing itself. No alcohol on the bus (that rule keeps things safe), but the moment you step off, you're in the bar. Your guide knows the spots, knows the rhythm of the night, and knows exactly when to move the group along so you hit closing time at the last bar instead of watching the night wind down early.
