Zhangjiajie National Forest Park spreads across thousands of acres of vertical stone pillars, and a single day hits the main landmarks without backtracking. The Bailong elevator is the centerpiece: a glass lift built into the cliff that rises 330 meters in about two minutes, opening onto the Avatar mountain plateau. From there, walking trails connect the peaks and overlooks where the film was shot. Your guide handles the route and timing, so you move through the park without deciding which trail comes next.

Tianzi mount sits on the opposite side of the park and requires a cable car to reach. The ride itself is the view, passing over the forest canopy and stone formations below. Jinbian creek and the Ten Miles Gallery are quieter stops where fewer tourists gather, and the guide chooses the pacing based on crowds and your energy that day.
