ATV riding in Yangshuo countryside is a half-day activity where you operate an ATV or buggy through rural villages, karst mountain areas and farmlands with stream crossings. The experience

Your driver and guide meet you at your hotel lobby in Yangshuo and drive 40 minutes to the countryside area where the ATVs wait. Once there, you get instruction on how to operate the vehicle before you head out: the guide covers the basics so you can focus on the ride itself. Then you open the throttle and ride through the landscape: rural villages, karst mountain terrain, working farmland and streams. The guide leads the way and you follow the route at your own pace.

You choose how long to ride (one hour or two hours) when you book. If you're traveling with someone else, you can share one ATV instead of each riding separately. Children from age 7 can ride with an adult on the same vehicle. After the ride, your guide escorts you back to your hotel in the air-conditioned car.
