The park centers on two major attractions: the Three Natural Bridges, the largest natural bridge group in Asia, and the Longshuixia Gap, a gorge system that stretches five kilometers and plunges 200 to 500 meters deep.

At the Three Natural Bridges, you walk among three massive spans (Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong) that cross the Yangshuihe Gorge and connect the mountains on either side. The formations are classic karst: limestone carved by water over millions of years into shapes that feel both delicate and monumental. Around 3pm, you take a 10-minute battery-powered vehicle ride into the Longshuixia Gap (the vehicle ticket costs 15 CNY per person, purchased on site). The gorge itself is the product of tectonic upheaval tens of millions of years ago. The walkable section covers about two kilometers of the full five-kilometer length, passing through primitive forest, waterfalls, and springs that cut through the rock.

The return journey to Chongqing takes another three hours, with drop-off at your hotel by late afternoon or early evening.
