The experience

Your driver picks you up at your Nanjing hotel or railway station in an air-conditioned vehicle and handles check-in when you arrive. The resort spreads across a garden with over 50 pools: each one a different experience. The milk pool, coffee pool, and Chinese herbs pool are the draws most people mention first, but there's also an alcohol pool, aromatherapy pool, and a waterfall pool. You move between them at your own pace, spending as much time in each as you want. The open-air setting means you're soaking under the sky, not in an indoor facility.

The resort also offers beauty and health treatments beyond the pools themselves, though those are booked and paid separately. After you've had enough, your driver returns you to your starting point in Nanjing. The whole outing runs about eight hours from pickup to drop-off.
