The experience

Seven to eight hours covers the drive from Santiago to the Valparaíso region, a stop at Veramonte winery in the Casablanca valley (wine tasting is optional), and the walking tour through the old town itself. The UNESCO-protected area spreads across steep hills, so the route climbs and descends narrow streets and passages where street art and murals line the walls. La Sebastiana, the three-story house where poet Pablo Neruda lived, sits on Cerro Bellavista and overlooks the harbor bay.

After the walking section, the tour moves to Viña del Mar for lunch along the promenade. A panoramic drive follows the coastal edge, passing the Flower Clock at the foot of Cerro Castillo and Wulff Castle on the waterfront before the return to Santiago. The vehicle is air-conditioned and WiFi is available on board.
