Ride solo or tandem through turquoise water, stopping where you want

A self-guided WaveRunner adventure at Seven Mile Beach puts you in control of a two-seater jet ski to explore the Caribbean on your own terms. Navigate past Starfish Point, visit Stingray City, cut through the mangroves, or cruise the length of the beach. You decide how long to stay at each spot. Life jacket included. Single riders and couples both ride.

The experience

You pick up a WaveRunner and set your own course through the shallow, clear waters off Seven Mile Beach. No guide narrates the route, no schedule dictates where you stop next. If Starfish Point holds your attention, you stay. If the mangroves look worth exploring, you turn the jet ski that way. The self-guided format means you spend your time on what actually interests you, not on a fixed itinerary built for a group.

The WaveRunner itself seats up to two people, so you can ride alone or bring a friend or partner. A single rider has full control. A passenger sits behind. Life jackets are provided. The turquoise water is shallow enough to feel safe and clear enough to see what's below, and the main attractions (Starfish Point, Stingray City, the mangrove channels, and the stretch of Seven Mile Beach itself) are all within reach of a short ride from the launch point.

One hour is the standard rental window, though a half-day option lets you take a longer route if the shorter time feels rushed. Bring sunscreen and water shoes. The sun reflects hard off the water and the shallow bottom can be rough underfoot if you wade in. You'll need to be at least 16 to operate the WaveRunner solo, and any passenger must be at least 6 years old.

What’s included

Is this one for you?You control the route and the pace, so this works best if you want to linger at one spot instead of moving through a set schedule. A couple or solo rider who knows what they want to see will get more out of the self-guided format than someone looking for a guide to explain what they're passing.

Top questions

What happens if it rains?

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

Can I ride a WaveRunner alone, or do I need a passenger?

You can ride solo or with one passenger. A single rider operates the WaveRunner independently. A passenger sits behind the driver. Either way, the jet ski is yours to control.

What is Stingray City like when I get there?

Stingray City is a shallow area where stingrays gather naturally. You'll see them in the water, and many riders stop to observe or interact with them if conditions allow. It's one of the main stops people choose on this route.

Do I have to visit all the spots, or can I skip some?

You choose which stops to make. Starfish Point, Stingray City, the mangroves and Seven Mile Beach are all reachable, but the self-guided format means you decide which ones to visit and how long to spend at each.

What happens if I run out of time before I've seen everything?

The one-hour rental covers the main attractions within a short ride of the launch point. If you want more time to explore, the half-day option gives you a longer window to visit multiple stops without rushing.

Is there anything I need to bring or wear?

Bring sunscreen and water shoes. The life jacket is provided. Sunscreen protects against the intense reflection off the water, and water shoes help if you wade into shallow areas.
