The experience

Three hours takes you through two stops on Sal Island: first to Shark Bay in Parda, where you enter the water to get close to juvenile lemon sharks while adults stay visible from a safe distance. The guide explains their behavior and biology as you're in the water with them. Afterward, the vehicle brings you to Pedra de Lume, an extinct volcano's crater that holds both salt mines and a natural salty pool where you float without effort, the salt doing the work.
