The experience

Green Lake, Lost Lake, the Cheakamus River and the Whistler-Blackcomb Mountains anchor this tour, which moves through the valley's most scenic areas in a single morning or afternoon. Your guide provides commentary on local history, wildlife and what each neighborhood offers year-round, so you get context for the places you pass. The hop-on hop-off format means you can stay on for the full loop or step off at any stop (the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center, Rainbow Park where Whistler began, or Olympic Plaza), and rejoin the tour later or explore on foot.

Function Junction is where the tour lingers longest. This artisan zone holds craft breweries (Whistler Brewing and Coast Mountain Brewing both have stops), a bakery, art gallery, distillery, chocolatier and gift shops. You'll have time to duck into any of them or simply walk the neighborhood. The tour also passes Creekside Village, Whistler's original ski hub, and stops at the Whistler Sliding Centre, home to the 2010 Olympic Bobsled, Skeleton and Luge track, the world's fastest track, where you may spot athletes training.

The vehicle is air-conditioned and seats your group privately. Bottled water is provided throughout. During warmer months, Lost Lake gets a full loop with tips on how to return and make the most of the park. In winter, the route adjusts. Wildlife sightings (Canadian geese, bald eagles, black bears) are possible but not guaranteed.
