The Experience

What does it feel like to ride a bobsled at Olympic speeds without training? You start with an orientation on track etiquette, then get shuttled to the start position where a helmet is fitted and you meet your pilot. Track crew seats you in the sled, run final safety checks, and announce your team's names over the speakers. When the control tower gives the green light, crew members push you off, and the sled accelerates down the track. The ride lasts about 90 minutes total, though the actual descent is the climax of that time.

As you descend, lean into the corners to help your pilot steer while the sled hits top speeds of 125+ km/hr in the final corner. You'll feel the force of acceleration—up to 4 g-forces—as the sled carves through all 10 twists and turns. The uphill outrun slows you to a stop at the finish dock, where track crew help you exit.
